How We Make Artisan Chocolate Truffles

How We Make Artisan Chocolate Truffles

There's something almost magical about transforming fine Belgian chocolate into a silky, handcrafted truffle. At Lefevre Chocolate, it's a process we never tire of — and one we're proud to share with you.

It Starts With the Best Chocolate

We use only the finest Belgian chocolate as our base. Quality ingredients make all the difference, and we refuse to compromise on what goes into every truffle we make.

Made Fresh, Every Single Time

Unlike mass-produced chocolates, every Lefevre truffle is made fresh per order. That means when you place an order, Richard gets to work tempering chocolate, preparing ganache fillings, and hand-rolling each truffle with care.

The Process

The process begins with gently melting and tempering the chocolate to achieve that satisfying snap and glossy finish. We then prepare our ganache fillings — rich, smooth centres made from cream and carefully chosen flavourings. Each truffle is hand-dipped, coated, and finished by hand.

No conveyor belts. No machines doing the delicate work. Just skilled hands and a lot of love.

Packed With Care

Once made, your chocolates are carefully packed — whether in one of our signature boxes or a bespoke branded box for a corporate client. Every order leaves as if it were a gift from us to you.

That's the Lefevre way.
